The title character in this post-modernist series, Ray Banana (he always wears Ray-Ban sunglasses hence the name), is a private detective in the fictional city of Metropolis. He is not always especially good at his jobs - in fact, the criminals often has the upper hand - but somehow he manages to succeed on his missions.
