MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2003*. Stopped in 2006 after 36 issues.

This comedy series tells about the life of the teenager Ranma Saotome, who spends most of his time training in the martial arts. Due to a training mishap Saotome is cursed to transform into a female when splashed with cold water, while hot water transforms him back into his original state, i.e. Saotome is half of each gender hence the series' title.
