MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1952. Stopped in 1954 after 10 issues, but continued in a second run until 1958 (additional 19 issues).

The main character is Captain John Braddock, who is a detective in San Francisco's police department. From there he and his colleagues mostly work to stop racketeers and confidence tricksters.

The series initiated from a TV crime series that aired from 1951 to 1953 (98 episodes).

The full title of the series is Racket Squad in Action.
