The series main plotline is the Mayan doomsday calendar that prophesied the end of the world in 2012. In the stories a large number of well known characters work together to avoid disaster. Examples are Ash Williams, Dracula, Pantha, Red Sonja, Sherlock Holmes, and Vampirella.
