MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2007. Stopped in 2010 after 28 issues.

The title character is a huge, apelike sasquatch (better known as a Bigfoot) by the name of John 'Proof' Prufrock. He works for a secret government organization called The Lodge, from where he ventures out to seek cryptids, i.e. mysterious beings, whose existence is not officially accepted.
On his investigative journeys Proof encounters dinosaurs, dodos, gnomes, golems, harpies, and jackalopes, and he is often accompanied by the young FBI agent Ginger Brown.
