This is a pantomime strip consisting of 3 to 4 panels building up to a funny situation in the last panel. The title character is an inventive senior who always has an alternative way of doing things and dealing with sudden problems, and his solutions are novel and surprising.
The title, Professor Krumtap, translates to Professor Crank in English thus adding a verbal dimension (in which Cranky means strange) that is not present in the Danish term.
