Name: Semic Press (subsidiary of the worldwide Egmont Group).
Personal dates: Founded in Sweden in 1950 as a comic book subdivision of the publishing company Bonnier AB and has since then changed name several times (the most well known older name is probably Serieförlaget). Sold to Egmont in 1997.

Comments: The corporation's name is a contraction of Series and Comics. The Semic pages in this site contain  examples from the Swedish and the Norwegian main branches.

 

 

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1977*. Stopped in 1981 after 50 issues, but continued from 1981 to 1988 (additional 79 issues), and then from 2013 under another publisher. Ongoing.

This Norwegian series consists of diverse independent stories from the American Wild West.
