MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1988. Stopped in 1989 after 10 issues.

The main character is the Japanese-American Lieutenant Jed Goshi, a veteran from the Vietnam conflict who is now trying to lead a life in peace in New York City. But he has to make a living and all he knows is combat, so he settles down as some sort of instructor training other people in fighting skills.
The series' title derives from the fact that Goshi's favourite weapon is handgrenades also known as pineapples.
