Name: Semic Press (subsidiary of the worldwide Egmont Group).
Personal dates: Founded in Sweden in 1950 as a comic book subdivision of the publishing company Bonnier AB and has since then changed name several times (the most well known older name is probably Serieförlaget). Sold to Egmont in 1997.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1970*. Stopped in 1984 after 178 issues.

This Swedish series consists primarily of heroic war tales describing allied air force soldiers fighting in World War 2.

* The series started in 1965 under another publisher, thus the numbering in the series on this page starts at #13/1970. The first 4 issues were titled Pilot 22.
