MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1959. Stopped in 1974 after 760 issues (from #745 the title received the prefix Nouveau)*.

This weekly magazine primarily features stories from several series, mostly French and Belgian, in the genres action and humour.

* The series continued for several years without the sequential numberings. Instead the issues are usually identified using a 7-digit chronological code containing year of issue followed by a number (example: 1987020). Also, the series changed from weekly to monthly editions.
