Comments: The corporation primarily publishes a range of paperback books in several genres. From 1945 to 1954 it added comic books to the production, but most of the series lasted only for a few issues.

 

 

MAIN STORY
The series premiered in 1950*. Stopped in 1956 after 28 issues.

The series is loosely based on an anthropomorphic rabbit named Peter and his many friends invented by British author Beatrix Potter in 1902. Some of the recurring characters in the series are Cheeta, Cicero, Dazy, Sparky, and Timmy.

The full title of the series is (The) (New) Adventures of Peter Rabbit.

* Continuation of a series titled Peter Rabbit Comics that ran from 1947 to 1949 (6 issues) thus the series on this page starts the numbering at #7.
