This is part of a large children's comic book series containing more than 200 characters created from 1959 on by cartoonist Mauricio Araújo de Sousa.

The recurring main character on this page is the Brazilian footballer Edison Arantes do Nascimento AKA Pelé.

The full title of the series is Pelezinho Coleção Histórica meaning Pelé Historical Collection in English.
