Name: Egmont Group (worldwide comics corporation).
Personal dates: Founded in Denmark in 1878 by Egmont Harald Petersen (1860-1914) and has since then changed name several times (the most well known older name is probably Gutenberghus). Ongoing.

Comments: The corporation has always focussed on childrens' literature. It has branches all over the world, but the pages in this site are all examples from the Danish main  branch.

 

 

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2003. Stopped in 2007 after 18 issues.

The title character is a high school girl named Momo Adachi (Momo means Peach in Japanese), who is trying to live a quiet and eventless life. Unfortunately, the very sweet and beautiful girl has rivals that try to spread slanderous rumours about her love life. Adachi's reaction to the false allegations is attempting to gain popularity by forming her life after the hostile surroundings.
