The series premiered in
1974. Stopped in 2008.
The title character starts off as a
simple fisherman in ancient Egypt, but after he
has saved Princess Théti-Chéri, the daughter of
the Pharaoh and High Priestess of Isis, from a
painful death, he becomes a hero and protector of
the girl.
