This is a biennial magazine (it is published in odd years and alternates with The Broons that emerges in even years) containing numerous short stories featuring a youngster by the name of William, who lives in the same basic type of environment and displays the same general treats as the title characters from Dennis the Menace and Dennis the Menace (Thomson).
The series' title is a type of Scottish slang meaning Our Willie in plain English.

* The character was first published in newspaper strips starting in 1936. Later, a few annuals were issued during the 1940s.
