MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2003. Ongoing.

The main character in this swashbuckling action comedy is the young boy Monkey D. 'Straw Hat' Luffy, who is captain on an advanced pirate ship named Thousand Sunny. His crew is called the Straw Hat Pirates, and they are searching for the world's ultimate treasure known as One Piece, that will give Luffy the coveted title of King of the Pirates.
