MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1944. Stopped in 1947 after 30 issues.

The series contains action stories and funny animal stories featuring well known characters.

This giveaway series was financed by bread manufacturer Omar Baking Co. (started by William J. Coad and named after the Persian poet Omar Khayyam), and later reprinted with the same stories under another manufacturer and titled Hancock Giveaway.

The full title of the series is Omar Super-book of Comics.
