After her boyfriend's tragic death in an accident the 20-year old Oki leaves her native Japan to settle as an au pair in France. She moves from one household to another but everywhere she goes she gets involved in puzzling and dangerous events.

The full title of the series is Oki, Souvenirs d'une jeune Fille au Pair.
