MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1996. Stopped in 2006 after 7 issues.

The humouristic stories take place during the 1930s. The title character is a bearded missionary sent on diverse tasks all over the world by the Vatican. On his travels he is accompanied by the accident-prone novice Laurent de Boismenu.

The full title of the series is Les Exploits d'Odilon Verjus. The Flemish version is titled De Belevenissen van Govert Suurbier.
