MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1976. Stopped in 1978 after 21 issues, but has been revived several times since then.

The series stars a New York student, Richard Rider, who is chosen by an alien from the planet Xandar to inherit his superpowers in order to fight villains on Earth and in Space. His nickname is The Human Rocket.

The full title of the series is The Man called Nova.
