MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1967. Stopped in 1969 after 13 issues.

The series is Marvel's heavy satire on its own superhero series involving characters such as Captain Marvin (Captain Marvel), Dr. Deranged (Doctor Strange), Knock Furious (Nick Fury), Scaredevil (Daredevil), Spidey-man (Spider-man), and Stuporman (Superman).

The title is a play on words on an advertising convention of the time, in which competitors' products were referred to as Brand X (Brand Echh).
