MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1996. Stopped the same year after 7 issues, but has been revived several times since then. Some of the later titles are Tenchi Muyo! and The All-new Tenchi Muyo! (Muyo meaning No Need in English).

The main character is Tenchi Masaki, who is leading a quiet life in the countryside, until he is visited by a group of alien girls. They become a source of trouble to him, but they also compete for his affection. A few of the recurring characters are Ayeka, Mihoshi, Kiyone,Ryoko, Sasami, and Washu.
