MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1991*. Stopped the same year after 9 issues.

The series basically features stories with diverse characters from different locations. The main character is the plumber Mario and together with his brother Luigi they often save damsells in distress. The princesses Daisy and Zelda are examples.

The series as such is based on a series of highly popular Japanese Nintendo platform video games starting in 1985.
