MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1996*. Stopped in 2009 after 154 issues.

The title character's alter ego is that of Dick Grayson (Robin), the former partner of the starring character in Batman. After Batman's demise the now adult Grayson took on a new identity called Nightwing to continue his crime fighting career in New York City.

* The character as such premiered in 1963 when Superman held the role, and since then the part has been played by other characters in several new, but shortlived, series. The longrunning one presented on this page is just one of the many.
