Personal dates: Founded as MLJ Magazines (the initials of the founders' first names) in 1939 by Maurice Coyne, Louis Silberkleit, and John L. Goldwater, but the name was soon changed. Ongoing.

Comments: The company's lasting name was taken from the immensely popular teenage character Archie, who has always been the company's flagship.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1998. Stopped the same year after 6 issues.

All humans are supposed to dream within a dream world consisting of two different scenarios; good dreams in Nightopia ruled by Nights, and bad dreams in Nightmare ruled by Wizeman. The stories mainly follow two youngsters, Claris Sinclair and Elliot Edwards, in their tumultuous visions.

The series is loosely built on a Sega Saturn video game released in 1996.
