MAIN STORY
The series premiered in 1985*. Stopped in 1991 after 74 issues, but has been revived several times since then.

The series' title is a galaxy name given by the alien race called the Merk to any guardian of humanity. The primary bearer at the moment - 500 years into the future -  is Horatio Valdemar Hellpop, whose task it is to travel in Space to find and destroy mass-murderers.
