MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2004*. Stopped in 2012 after 13 issues.

The series is set in a futuristic (year 2015!) Tokyo after an apocalyptic cataclysm, in which humans are battling different types of robots that try to take over. A few of the many recurring characters are Rei Ayanami, Shinji Ikari, Misato Katsuragi, and Asuka Langley Soryu.

* The first series was published in 1997 and has been revived several times since then.
