MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2010. Ongoing.

The main character is the orphaned boy Takashi Natsume, who has the ability to see spirits. He has inherited the gift from his grandmother Reiko, who, when she died, gave Natsume her Book of Friends that contains all the names of the spirits that she brought under her contral. Now the spirits try to recover the book, which is highly treasured in the spirit world.
