Comments: Charlton published stories from all genres of the comic book universe. The company was known for its low-budget activities that included the publishing of previously unpublished material from bygone companies.

 

 

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1956. Stopped in 1965 after 48 issues.

The series contains a mixture of self-contained stories of science fiction, mythology, and excavation describing man's urge to venture into unknown territory.

The last 3 issues focuses on stories starring Johnny Mann AKA Son of Vulcan (initially Vulcan was regarded as one of Roman mythology's gods).
