MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1950. Stopped in 1955 after 46 issues.

The stories feature the innocent and rather airheaded, young stenographer Irma and her daily misadventures. She lives with her roommate Jane (who narrates hence the title of the series) and is dating the deadbeat Al.

The series is a spinoff from a radio show that ran from 1947 to 1954.
