MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1985. Stopped in 1989 after 26 issues.

The stories feature young versions of Jim Henson's famous muppets, that became known in TV shows as members of a chaotic vaudeville theater group (the term Muppet is a combination of Marionette and Puppet). In this childhood series we meet all the primary characters such as Animal, Fozzie, Gonzo, Kermit, Miss Piggy, Rowlf, and Scooter.

The full title of the series is Jim Henson's Muppet Babies.

The series is a spinoff from a TV series that ran from 1984 to 1991 (107 episodes).
