CREATOR

The series premiered in 1965.

The main characters are the couple Moose and Molly Miller. They have three children and an assortment of pet animals, of which the dog Bowser is the most recurrent. Moose is a thoroughly lazy and unemployed middle-class loafer, who spends most of his time watching television and raiding the refrigerator (he gladly mooches in on his neighbours, Chester and Clara Crabtree, refrigerator as well!). Occasionally, it seems that Moose is actually looking for work, but he very rarely succeeds.

In 1971 the series' title was changed to Moose Miller and in 1998 it was retitled Moose & Molly.
