MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2009. Stopped in 2015 after 65 issues.

This is part of a large children's comic book series containing more than 200 characters created from 1959 on by cartoonist Mauricio Araújo de Sousa.

The recurring main character on this page is the small girl Mônica who is perceived as a leading figure for the other children.

An identical series was published alongside this edition. It is in English and titled Monica's Gang.
