Personal dates: Founded in Denmark in 1899 as P.I.B. by Hjalmar Carlsen (1875-1951) and has since then changed name several times. It has subsidiaries in several European countries. Ongoing.

Comments: The corporation has always focussed on childrens' literature from diverse countries. The pages in this site are all examples from the German branch named Carlsen Verlag.

 

 

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2006. Stopped in 2009 after 12 issues.

The stories derive from Muglox, a land populated by Mugloxes which are fairies assigned to help human teenagers. Some of the fairies are Mirmo, Murumo, Rirumu, and Yashichi, and some of the humans are Azumi Hidaka, Kaoru Matsutake, Kaede Minami, and Setsu Yuki.

The initial Japanese title of the series is Mirmo (or Mirumo) de Pon!.
