Name: Semic Press (subsidiary of the worldwide Egmont Group).
Personal dates: Founded in Sweden in 1950 as a comic book subdivision of the publishing company Bonnier AB and has since then changed name several times (the most well known older name is probably Serieförlaget). Sold to Egmont in 1997.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1984. Stopped the same year after 11 issues.

This Swedish series stars the Samish boy Mika and his reindeer called Ossian. The stories follow their joint adventures in the harsh environment.

The full title of the series is Mika och Renen Ossian på Äventyr meaning Mika and the Reindeer Ossian on Adventures in English.
