Personal dates: Founded as MLJ Magazines (the initials of the founders' first names) in 1939 by Maurice Coyne, Louis Silberkleit, and John L. Goldwater, but the name was soon changed. Ongoing.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1992*. Stopped in 1993 after 9 issues.

The stories tell of a group of crime-fighting, heroic beings that are half humans and half animals.

* The series was preceeded by a mini-series in 1991 (3 issues). Both series recognize the similar Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the front covers.
