Name: Egmont Group (worldwide comics corporation).
Personal dates: Founded in Denmark in 1878 by Egmont Harald Petersen (1860-1914) and has since then changed name several times (the most well known older name is probably Gutenberghus). Ongoing.

Comments: The corporation has always focussed on childrens' literature. It has branches all over the world, but the pages in this site are all examples from the Danish main  branch.

 

 

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1962. Stopped in 1993 after 733 issues*.

Initially, the series contained individual stories from Walt Disney's feature films and comic book universes, but later it included adaptations of diverse Non-disney feature films and comic books.

* The series was published under other titles some of the time such as MV (1966-1968) and MV Comics (1968-1975).
