MAIN STORY
The series premiered in 1930.

Disney created two major funny animal universes of great significance - the mouse universe and the duck universe. They both appear in several types of media.
The mouse universe is primarily represented by Mickey Mouse who lives in a city populated by different sorts of friends and foes. Many of the stories take place outside the city.

The stories were/are written by an overwhelming number of artists. Examples: Edward 'Ted' Osborne (1900-1968), Floyd Gottfredson (1905-1986), William 'Bill' Walsh (1913-1975), Carl Robert Fallberg (1915-1996), Donald 'Don' Ragnvald Christensen (1916-2006), Robert 'Bob' Foster (1943-).
