MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1959. Stopped in 1962 after 13 issues.

The series stars two brothers, Bret and Bart Maverick, who mainly earn their living as poker players visiting the Old West saloons and the Mississippi riverboats. They constantly get entangled in money issues, and they have to deal with both angry gamblers and sexy ladies.

The series is based on a TV comedy series that ran from 1957 to 1962.
