MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1942. Still sporatically published.

Mary Bromfield meets Billy Batson when visiting a radio station, and, much to their surprise, it turns out that they are twins who got separated at birth. Mary then learns of Billy's secret identity as Captain Marvel, and she gets to use the magic word Shazam which gives him superpowers. Their goal is the same; fighting crime wherever they find it.
