Name: Semic Press (subsidiary of the worldwide Egmont Group).
Personal dates: Founded in Sweden in 1950 as a comic book subdivision of the publishing company Bonnier AB and has since then changed name several times (the most well known older name is probably Serieförlaget). Sold to Egmont in 1997.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1973. Stopped in 1974 after 13 issues.

This Swedish series contains action stories foremost featuring the British special agent Red Gambler from the intelligence branch known as Q. Gambler, who is a trained pilot, is constantly sent out on worldwide missions to neutralize criminals and spies.

The series' Swedish title means The Man from Q in English.
