The character of Mafalda is a little girl (about 6 years of age) who has strong opinions on several adult issues such as humanity and world peace. She constantly airs her views in interaction with a string of characters who were introduced during the years, and who all have their characteristics. Examples are - besides Mamá and Papá - Felipe, Guille, Libertad, Manolito, Miguelito, Muriel, and Susanita.
