MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2000. Stopped in 2001 after 6 issues (the series was preceeded by a free #0 as an introduction).

The title character is best known as Dr. Mabuse, and can be characterized as a criminal genius and a keen user of telepathic hypnosis as well as a master of disguise. He often relies on a network of agents to carry out his villainous plans.

Mabuse premiered from 1921 in novels by the German author Norbert Jacques and he has been the starring character in several films since then.
