MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2002. Stopped in 2004 after 14 issues, but continued as New Lupin III World's Most Wanted from 2004 to 2007 (additional 9 issues).

The title character (pronounced Lupin the 3rd) is the grandson of the famous fictional gentlemen thief Arsène Lupin, and he follows in his grandfather's footsteps by stealing valuable objects in intelligent ways. Some of the time he is accompanied by marksman Daisuke Jigen, swordsman Goemon Ishikawa XIII, and love interest Fujiko Mine.
