MAIN STORY
The series premiered in 1961.

The title character is supposed to be an Austrian born uncle of Donald Duck, but he moves in both the Duck and the Mouse universes. Although he is a renowned professor, he is also rather bumbling and eccentric, but in his own mind he is absolutely flawless.

The stories were/are written by an overwhelming number of artists. Examples: Carl Robert Fallberg (1915-1996), Donald 'Don' Ragnvald Christensen (1916-2006), Victor 'Vic' Lockman (1927-), Ivan Saidenberg (1940-2009), Nino Russo (1960-), Marco Bosco (?-)
