MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1989. Stopped in 1992 after 6 issues.

The title character is a young, French soldier who has fought in World War I, but now he finds himself redundant and a nuisance to society. On trying to have a life away from persecutions by the zealous secret police he travels and joins a communist group in Berlin.

The initial French title of the series is Louis la Guigne.
