MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2002*. Stopped in 2006 after 11 issues.

This comedic series evolves around Liberty Meadows, an animal care and rehabilitation center, where most of the humans are rather dimwitted, while the animals can talk. The most recurring character is Brandy Carter, a bombshell of an animal psychiatrist.
Examples of human characters are the nerdy veterinarian Frank Mellish, the accident-prone maintenance man Tony, and Julius who is the owner of Liberty Meadows. Examples of animal characters are the midget bear Ralph, the sex-crazed pig Dean, and the hypochondriac frog Leslie.
