The series premiered in 1982. Stopped in 2015 after 20 issues.

The main character is Benjamin Graindal who lived in the mid 18th century in Canada. The stories primarily tell about his involvements in the French-British wars for the possession of new colonies in North America. Graindal constantly travels and is partly accompanied by the young woman Louise Dieudonné.
