The series premiered in 1983. Stopped in
1990.
The epic stories take place in the
end of the 14th century's Europe. A nameless and faceless,
desolate knight travels the land accompanied by the roguish
village girl Mariotte and the thoughtless peasant boy Anicet,
and they meet several mythical figures such as elves, dragons,
and sirens on their way.
The series' title Les Compagnons du Crépuscule
means The Twilight Companions in English.
