Name: DC (American comics corporation).
Personal dates: Founded in 1934 by Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson (1890-1968) as National Allied Publications, but the name changed in 1937 to Detective Comics (later shortened to DC). Stopped in 2011.

Comments: The corporation's logo changed several times over the years. The selected one ran from 1976 to 2005.

 

 

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1948. Stopped in 1958 after 60 issues, but continued in several new series under the same title or titled Binky or Binky's Buddies..

The starring character is Bertram 'Binky' Biggs, who is a typical all American teenager with typical friends and problems. He has a sister named Lucy, a girlfriend named Peggy, a dog named Dopey, and a rival named Sherwood.
